Stacey Gillian Abe is featured in dot.ateliers' group exhibition "left hanging - one sculpture, one rug, and paintings" from the 11-30 November 2023.
Presented alongside a curated selection of 36 artworks, Stacey Gillian Abe is showcased with artists from across Africa and it’s diaspora in the Accra based art space. The group exhibition pulls from the Boafo collection with a thematic focus on figuration and portraiture and a commitment to presenting a nuanced narrative of artistic expression from within African regions.
The dot.ateliers contemporary art space was established in 2022 by the acclaimed Ghanaian painter, visual artist and collector, Amoaka Boafo. With a drive to strengthen the scope of art in Accra and deepen the cultural exchange between artists and the local community, Boafo has additionally launched an artist residency in 2023 that continues on a rolling basis, hosting between six to eight emerging artists a year in a bid to support the next generation of talent.
