Biography
Sasha Ferré (b. 1985) was born in Paris, France. She’s a visual artist living and working between London and Paris. She holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art (2020) and a BFA from the Cornish College of the Arts, Seattle, USA (2016). Ferré paints directly on unstretched canvases, creating works that are influenced by her interest in ecology, biology and process philosophy. Ferré’s practice investigates the world as a constantly shifting network of connections.
Ferré has exhibited widely and was the recipient of the Hine Painting Prize in 2020. In 2023 Ferré will hold her debut solo exhibition in London with the gallery. Other solo exhibitions include Connective Tissue with The Anzai Gallery, Tokyo, Japan (2022). Recent group exhibitions include Verklarte Nacht, Monti8 Gallery, Latina, Italy (2023); Consciousness, Sage Culture Gallery, Los Angeles, USA (2022); Royal College of Art 2020 Physical Graduate Show, Bargehouse, Oxo Tower, London, United Kingdom (2022); Rites of Passage, Unit London Gallery, London, United Kingdom (2021) and Kensington and Chelsea Art Week, London, United Kingdom.
