Hedgerow Expansion is digital tapestry work created through a process of intimacy with both media and material.
This work incorporates video stills and scanned paintings side by side to create a sense of dynamic movement between patterns and disruptions. The work visually references traditional carpet and wall tapestry designs, as well as 1970s Pattern and Decoration (P&D) paintings, circuit board designs and digital glitches, resulting in a blend of nostalgic and futuristic elements.
