Continuum is a meditative sound and light installation, composed of a grouping gradient of paintings by Krista Kim, in collaboration with Efren Mur, and music by Ligovskoï.
By sequencing animated movements of gradients, a shifting landscape of colour and emotion emerges. The artwork is an expression of nature that celebrates the beauty of natural phenomena and invites viewers to explore an immersive experience in sound and light. With Continuum, viewers can travel into a visual meditation and healing journey – a digital Zen garden that explores the depths of consciousness through music and colours.
Kim’s artwork has been celebrated for its ability to draw people back into the present moment by creating a bridge between the physical and digital worlds – allowing viewers to connect with their own inner nature and explore a world of limitless possibilities. It is a journey of self-discovery and transformation, allowing viewers to tap into inner peace and harmony.
Continuum has captivated viewers around the globe, inviting them to take a break from reality and enter into an immersive experience in sound, light and colour. It is part of a world tour from Toronto, Miami, Arayana (China), Milan, with the most celebrated takeover installation in Times Square on 96 screens last February for Midnight Moments by Times Square Arts.
Continuum: Los Angeles was recently acquired in the permanent collection of LACMA and will continue to tour the globe.
